Busy Fall Wedding DJ Season in the East Bay

It's been a busy fall wedding season here in the East Bay. I've had weddings to DJ in San Ramon, Benicia, Livermore and Oakland California recently. Some of them included the ceremony where I provided music and wireless microphones for the officiant and readings.

Along with a celebrity family member at one of the recent weddings I've been fortunate to work with a number of great couples, families and venues. I have also gotten some wonderful reviews added to my weddingwire.com and theknot.com listings. You can see them if you look for DJ Mike Parent on either of those sites and I have copied some of them to my website at http://www.djmikeparent.com.

As I am starting to book some wedding dj dates for the spring and summer of 2013 I do have some open dates for the rest of this year and the winter heading into 2013.

Let me know if you have any questions that you would like answered as part of my wedding planning tips here on the blog.

One helpful tip when planning your wedding and looking for your DJ or entertainment is to talk about the specific needs relative to your locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. This is part of the reason it's good to meet to talk about your plans to get the correct details down for your services agreement.
Do you need DJ services for all three? Ceremony, Cocktails and Reception
Will extra equipment or equipment moves be needed to provide services for different areas for the ceremony, cocktails and/or reception? People sometimes forget to account for the cocktail hour if it is in an area separate from the ceremony or reception area and would need a separate sound system set up.
What time is everything scheduled? Do you want music as people arrive prior to the scheduled start time?

Please visit http://www.djmikeparent.com/ for more information about my wedding and event services. Also email me at mike@djmikeparent.com to set up a time to talk about your plans and service needs. I look forward to working with you on your most special event.
